Wholesale Halal & South Asian Grocery Supplier in Sacramento: How Stores and Restaurants Buy from PTI

If you run an independent grocery, a halal market, a restaurant or a catering kitchen in Northern California, finding a dependable supplier for Afghan, Pakistani, Middle Eastern and South Asian foods can take more time than it should. Many distributors carry a few mainstream spice brands and little else, while specialty importers may be hours away or require minimums that do not fit a small business. This guide explains how Pure Trust Imports (Pure Trust Import LLC) works with wholesale buyers, from opening an account to receiving your first delivery.

Who we are

Pure Trust Imports started in 2017 as a Halal market in Sacramento. Over time the business grew into an importer and wholesaler, bringing in products from Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea and Canada. Today we operate from a warehouse at 10275 Old Placerville Road #11, Sacramento, CA 95827, and we sell both wholesale to businesses and retail to home cooks through our online store.

Because we began as a neighborhood market ourselves, we understand what moves off a shelf in a community store and what a restaurant kitchen actually uses week to week.

Who buys wholesale from PTI

Our wholesale program is built for businesses that resell or cook with the products we carry, including:

  • Independent and ethnic grocery stores that want a deeper South Asian and Afghan aisle.
  • Halal markets and butcher shops adding spice mixes, rice, tea and snacks next to the meat counter.
  • Restaurants and caterers that go through spices, pastes, rice and cooking oil in volume.
  • Convenience stores and gas-station markets looking for snacks, biscuits, drinks and household basics.

What you can order

Our catalog covers the categories that drive repeat visits in a South Asian or Afghan grocery:

You can browse every brand we carry on our brands page.

How the wholesale process works

1. Apply for a wholesale account

Businesses apply through our wholesale application page. Tell us about your business and what you plan to buy. PTI reviews each application, and accounts are approved individually, so wholesale pricing is only shown to verified businesses.

2. Log in to see case prices

Once your account is approved, log in on the website. The catalog then shows wholesale case prices instead of retail prices, and checkout charges those wholesale prices automatically. There is nothing to calculate by hand or request by email for everyday orders.

3. Order by the case, with volume pricing

Wholesale products are sold by the case. You pay the standard wholesale price for 1 to 5 cases of an item, and ordering 6 or more cases of an item unlocks the best wholesale price on every case. If you know exactly what you need, the quick order page lets you enter quantities for many items on one screen instead of clicking through product pages.

4. Work with a sales rep if you prefer

Not every store owner wants to place orders online. Our sales reps can build an order on behalf of your store, so you can review it and confirm. This is useful for regular restocks or for owners who prefer a phone call to a web form.

Delivery: local routes and pallet freight

Local delivery within about 100 miles

We offer local delivery within about 100 miles of our Sacramento warehouse, which includes the San Francisco Bay Area. Delivery scheduling is arranged with your account, so contact us to confirm timing for your location.

Beyond 100 miles: pallet LTL freight

For buyers farther away, orders ship as pallet LTL (less-than-truckload) freight. Freight is quoted per order and paid by the buyer. Services such as liftgate delivery or a delivery appointment are extra. When the shipment arrives, inspect it and note any damage on the Bill of Lading; damage must be noted within 48 hours. Our guide to pallet LTL freight for small grocery buyers walks through each step.

Warehouse pickup

You can also pick up from the warehouse by appointment during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific.

Tips for a smooth first order

  • Start with proven movers. Recipe spice mixes, sella rice, loose black and green tea, and snacks are strong starting points for most South Asian and Afghan aisles.
  • Mix brands within a category. Carrying a spice mix brand plus bulk single spices serves both quick-meal shoppers and scratch cooks.
  • Plan around holidays. Ramadan, Eid and Nowruz bring predictable demand for dates, dessert mixes, tea, sweets and rice. Our Ramadan and Eid pantry checklist can help you plan.
  • Check storage space. Pallet orders are economical, but make sure you have dry, cool storage for the full quantity.
